Rims Review

I ordered from them and everything Came on time as promised. This was in 2008. When I attempted to purchase again in 2013, the number was not working. Then I read they had been struggling to stay afloat after 2009 and subsequently folded with several folks losing $$$$. I was fortunate.

Fraudulant sellers on Ebay

Updated by user Apr 21, 2013

The company was listed as WheelsTiresandMore.com on the Ebay auction page. Not sure if this Wheels Next is the proper company name, but that is what came up on this site when I listed the website.

Original review Apr 21, 2013
On Thurs afternoon I purchased 3 refinished wheel rims for my car from this seller, paying with my paypal account. The shipping details said that "free shipping to the United States". I am in AK, and we are the 49th State in the US. I received an order completion email from EBay. I also received an invoice from the seller stating "If you have already checked out or paid for this auction, please disregard this email". A few hours later I received an email thru normal email channels, not thru email channels, that they apologize but for shipping to AK there would be additional charge per wheel which was more than the initial purchase price per wheel, and I can either pay the extra or have them cancel the order and refund my payment. I replied that there wasn't any such info in the Shipping section, and they showed me something they listed on like page 3 of their listing saying that shipping to AK/HI/PR not free. This info wasn't listed in the Shipping section. I also let them know that I was able to successfully complete the purchase on the Ebay page that they themselves developed. They sent me a slightly nastier email again thru normal email channels and not regular Ebay communication channels asking if I was going to pay the additional fees or cancel for a refund. I said the heck with it and told them to cancel. Figured I could beat them down with a 'complain of seller' thru Ebay channels. Unfortunately, the Ebay Customer Service, and the Resolution Center, is set up so crazy that nothing would take me to where I wanted to go. Plus, no offline email, telephone number, or snail mail address to complain. Therefore, I fully intend to complain about these cheaters and their Fraud selling practices thru the BBB and any other channels that I can find.

How is this fraud? Not only did they show you where it states that shipping to Alaska is not free, you being a resident of Alaska should know *** well that nobody is gonna send such a large item for "free"!

Where's the monetary loss of $186 come in? You cancelled the order and "never paid any money". People like you make me sick! Giving bad reviews over ***.

You're just a *** that is bad mouthing this company to exploit them for free shipping. I'm sure the BBB will see that as well.

From your comments, sounds like you're trying to run damage control for the seller.

1) Seller communicated outside of Ebay msg sources so as to hide activity from Ebay.

2) All Shipping info says Free Shipping Continental US (Includes AK). If they only meant lower 48 states, should have listed Contiguous States which refers only to lower 48.

3) Zip Code checker indicator in Shipping Info still showed Free Shipping when I entered my Zip Code.

4) Purchase was successfully completed thru Ebay using the way the page was set up, and the money taken out of my PayPal. I also received next day email with an auto invoice from the seller's company showing the exact same numbers, including Free Shipping. Couldn't get much more completed.

5) The $186 was value of item/service lost. If the seller screwed up their seller's page and allowed the sale to go thru then they should honor the sale. And using msg channels outside of the established Ebay channels proves that they knew they were being fraudulent and trying to hide things.

They are not cheating. It is so expensive to ship larger items that on my Ebay ads if it is any item of size I state that shipping costs are only for lower 48 states. Sorry guys in Alaska but you are to far away to economically ship to>

Not a problem if the seller would have come out and said so. But their Shipping Info was set up for Free Shipping for Continental US, which includes Alaska.

If they didn't want to include AK, then they should have listed Contiguous US which is only the lower 48 states.

They included the zip code checking in their Shipping Info, but nothing changed when I entered my zip code, which is no surprise as it is included in the listing of Continental US. Sale was completed via Ebay channels with ack from Ebay, as well as a auto invoice emailed from the seller's company showing the EXACT same info to include Free Shipping. Sure looks like the entire page was set-up for Free Shipping. If the seller screwed up their page, they should have still honored the sale and fixed it afterwards, or at least try to make me a deal.

But they didn't. AND, with all messaging done outside Ebay msg channels so that Ebay officials, etc.

didn't have access to it, they were obviously trying hide something. And since there are numerous other complaints on this and other sites dealing with the poor quality and customer service, looks like this is something of a habit with the seller.

Almost a year, even with the BBB complaint and still nothing

I ordered my wheels from this company May 23rd last year. I received the email confirmation from them, and it said it'd be 7-15 business days before the order was shipped. So after that time I called and they said that had just received the rims from California, but had to buy the tires now, which they said they do locally. Of course I haven't received my rims or tires. I filed a complaint with the BBB and that was then forwarded to their local office to deal with it. Still nothing...this is so ridiculous, $1300 I've lost. If anyone wants to go in on a lawsuit against this company, please let me know. Chappeja@***.com

Big time scam. DO NOT ORDER from these jokers. they will take your money and may never deliver, and if you end up canceling after months of waiting, you will never get your money.

Wheels Next Buyer Beware

Updated by user Mar 31, 2012

Well I recieved my order shortly after I wrote this complaint. I recieved the tires and rims but no hardware that was supposed to be included.

I emailed Wheels Next several times. I have had no reply. They seem not concerned. I have tried to contact them on there facebook page.

They remove every complaint and every cry for help on a daily basis. It appears they try harder to erase their poor service rather then solve it.

Do yourself a favor.

Do business with a reputable company. There are many other internet tire companies with the same if not better prices and have favorable reviews.

This is a internet Wheel and Tire Company out of Florida and California. There web site claims fast shipping out of 2 locations. This is not the case. I waited a month for an email, call or anything from this company. I finally called thinking they lost my order. I was on hold for 20 minutes and this is not an estimate my phone has a time clock and it read 20 minutes before I heard from an associate. I was told they were very busy and my order would be shipped as soon as it reached California. Well I thought they shipped from 2 locations I am close to Florida. Its been 6 weeks now and still no word. I guess my next step is to contact my credit card company to submit a fraudulent charge.

Too Slow

I placed my order for my rims and tires on 6/30/2011. They immediatly debited my account but I never got a shipping notice? So the next week I called and waited on hold for 20 mins+,and I called every week after that held for 20+mins every time, even after I talked to Jeff and got his personal extension!! I called he never answered his extention, so I left him numerous messages and he never got back to me. Each time I called to inquire about my purchase I got a different excuse each time for why my rims and tires haven't shipped. I just got my rims today 8/15/2011. Enough said!!!!

the company should get valid REAL reviews good or bad so I will provide a detail account of my review so far

...I am real consumer, and I purchased a full set of rims and tires from wheelsnext.com on April 17th for $1,602.65. For my 1997 Chevrolet Camaro...I placed the order on the phone with Miguel who was very helpful and placed the order for the Hoyo H7 rims. Now I have never ordered rims and jack *** about bolt patterns and other stuff like that. So I liked the rims and placed the order with him no problems.

I was promised the e-mail of the invoice/order. I was excited and so far so good. I didn't receive the e-mail right away, and called back a couple of days to Miguel and he sent it to me right away. To me that was a good sign.

I was still nervous because for me it was the most I have ever spent online and I asked over and over, 'you sure they will fit?' and I have reassured they would. (another positive sign on customer service). I reveiwed the order several times as i went online to try learn more about bolt patterns and ***. I notice that the order had the rims at a different bolt pattern than my car. I called again, and spoke to another gentleman, who told me that the way they will fit will be because the drill to 5x120 (Whew!)...again very gracious and clear.

I had to call back a couple of times to get the Fed-ex tracking number as the first two times there was none. The third time I called they had it, and Carlos sent it to me right away! (again good customer service)

I have been checking fed-ex and they had to delay my shipment scheduled for May 7 to May 10. Not wheelsnext.com problem as this is a fed-ex things.

So far I can say my purchase experience from them has been great...4.5 out of 5...not a full 5 only because I don't think their e-mail update system actually does inform the customer of updates (i.e invoice, tracking number).

According to fed-ex my tires and wheels should be coming on Monday, May 10. I will post the results of the installation and order accuracy.

So far though, wheelsnext.com has provided excellent, timely and a stress free order experience. Ordering from them has not been a problem at all!

I did not bash your company because the wheels were on back order , I agreed to wait for the production run to start up again . I did not receive any calls regarding my fax or the 4 e mails I sent you went unanswered .

That is why you lost the sale ! lousey cust service !
